The Gymnast

Music completed her level 7 optional season! It was a great, challenging season, with Music fairing very well. 

Out of 7 meets, earning Gold all around in 3 including, at the regional championship. Achieving Gold on vault in all but 1 meet. In addition, earning a spot on the top 100 list for vault.



What's next!?

Level 8, or 9 is next!

    Karen Medellin is a former elite gymnast, with years of coaching experience.  She is head coach and the owner of 360 Elite in New Braunfels, TX, and currently coaches Music's level 8 and 9.

    Jasmine Berry is a former elite gymnast, who coached along side Tiffany, Music's level 4 and 5, at Love gymnastics. Jasmine is currently coaching Music's level 8 and 9 at 360 Elite.

    Meet the Choreographers:

    General Hambrick

    Professor Hambrick is from Fort Worth, Texas, and a graduate of Texas Christian University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. He received his Master’s Degree in Dance from the University of Washington and is currently an associate professor of dance at West Virginia University.

    Choreography for Music Brown

    General Hambrick is choreographer for Music's level 8 floor routine, and her great uncle! Firstly, training her in dance technique, he has put together a routine with music cut from System of a Down's, instrumental version of Aerials.

    Coach Jen, Yingzi Zeng

    Coach Jen is from Hunan province, China. Currently coaching at SAGA Gymnastics, in Converse, Texas. She's a former elite gymnast, Chinese gymnastics national team coach, and the 96' Chinese Olympic team coach.  She is also a current USAG judge. 


    Choreography for Music Brown

    Coach Jen is choreographer for Music's level 8 beam routine. She's put together a routine that suits Music's performance abilities, and accentuates the lines of a tall gymnast.

    Tiffany Huang is a former Olympian and coach. She coached Music at Love gymnastics for level 4, 5, and much of level 6.  She choreographed the level 6 and  7 floor and beam routines.

    Wenjing Wang is a former Olympian, and current Co owner of Love Gymnastics in San Antonio, Texas.

    She coached Music's level 6 and level 7, specializing in beam and floor.

    Brenda Dartora is a former Elite Brazilian Gymnast and  Brazilian National Team member. Brenda coached Music's level 7, specializing in uneven bars and vault.

    Shelby Carne coached Music's early years at J&R Gymnastics,  alongside Lauren Haggerty. She has over 10 years of coaching experience, and has coached levels 1-10. Shelby has a background in trampoline and tumbling, and competitive cheer.
